This tour starts in Bogota, the country’s capital city, before taking us South to explore the famous Tatacoa desert and the city of San Agustin with its archeological treasures such as the 2 meters tall great stone statues. Next stage, the white city, Popayán, and the surrounding indigenous villages of the Cauca valley, where we will have an inside look into the way of life of indigenous communities like that of the MISAK culture (also known as Guambianos). From there, get ready to dance, as we will make our way to the unmatched cradle of Colombian SALSA, Cali.
The road to the coffee triangle will then be open. You will learn everything there is to know about ARABICA coffee, the best exportation coffee in the world, and marvel at the most charming villages of the region.
Being so close and not visiting the colonial province with its national heritage-listed villages, admired for their lanterns and paved streets, would obviously be unforgivable.
We will round off our journey on the highest possible note by exploring the country’s most famous tropical city, Cartagena, the golden pearl of Colombia.
